Cops: Kristin Cavallari's traffic-stop story was 'exaggerated'
Fri Sep 6, 2013
I did the research and all indications point that California does participate in the Compact. Please let me know where I can go to see that that's not the case. I just think having to post a bond for speeding is a little much, unless she was in extreme excess of the speed limit for which …
'No one should have to work for free': Is this the end of the unpaid internship?
Mon Sep 2, 2013
I'm in the film and TV business and some of the most valuable knowledge I gained was while doing unpaid internships.
Fire the stars! 'American Idol' alumni who'd make great judges
Tue May 28, 2013
Casey and Haley together perhaps would bring back the flirting that was a big part of the success of the early years with Simon and Paula. But I think the idea of past contestants would be fantastic and there are so many that have national recognition that it isn't a big risk at all for the pr …

'Think twice,' defamation lawyer hired by Cain warns
Thu Nov 10, 2011
Politics is all theater. What if the Cain campaign hired these women and create all this hoopla just so the media would pay attention to him - it's been all Cain, Cain, Cain until JoPa came along and stole some thunder.
Turn back the clock to a future with no 'Blade Runner' remakes
Thu Aug 18, 2011
I'm all for more stories about fictional worlds so revisiting the world of Blade Runner makes great sense if the script is worth the journey. I just saw the new Planet of the Apes movie and I thought it was fantastic filmmaking and a great story.
Amputated penis leads to lawsuit against doctor
Wed Aug 17, 2011
Have you ever wondered why there aren't more female urologists? I think we'd see more of these "accidental" penis amputations if that were the case. Other than some extreme flesh-eating bacteria that could kill within hours, I don't see any credible evidence the doctor could give in his defense.
Let's talk spoilers
Thu Aug 11, 2011
There are so many good ones. "Soylent Green is People!" The penis reveal in The Crying Game. "Rosebud", "Mama" said at the end of Escape from the Planet of the Apes. Verbal losing his limp in Usual Suspects. But the one that knocked me over was The Sixth Sense. I didn't see that one coming.
Tourists saw Calif. man fall into Maui blow hole
Thu Jul 14, 2011
It's not like this happens all the time. What about all the probable times in the past when somebody stood in the exact spot and did the same thing but a wave didn't come in and knock them into the hole.
And the Emmy goes to ... the underdog
Wed Jul 13, 2011
I'd like to see Amazing Race regain it's crown and see Phil K and his eyebrow win for a change.
